AC1060 IFM AS-Interface Safety Module
The IFM AC1060 AS-Interface Safety Module is designed for integrating safety-related components into an AS-Interface (AS-i) Safety at Work network, helping provide reliable monitoring of safety functions in industrial automation systems. AS-i safety modules allow devices such as emergency-stop switches, safety switches, and other safety-related sensors to be connected to the AS-i network while maintaining fail-safe signal transmission. The module is suitable for decentralized safety applications where simplified wiring and reliable communication are important. IFM’s AS-i Safety at Work technology supports applications including emergency-stop, door monitoring, light curtains, and two-hand control, with safety systems capable of achieving up to SIL 3 and PL e, depending on the complete system configuration.
