AC031S IFM AS-Interface Safety Monitor
The IFM AC031S AS-Interface Safety Monitor is a reliable safety-control device designed for monitoring safety-related components within AS-Interface (AS-i) networks, such as emergency-stop switches and other protective devices. It operates on a 24 V DC supply and features extended functionality with a 1-channel safety circuit, DIN-rail mounting, and an integrated safe AS-i output for actuator monitoring or connection to another AS-i network. The AC031S complies with ISO 13849-1 Performance Level e (PL e) and IEC 61508 SIL 3, making it suitable for demanding machine-safety applications. With a maximum safety response time of approximately 40 ms, RS-232 configuration interface, and robust industrial design, it is well suited for automation systems, conveyor equipment, special-purpose machinery, and other applications requiring reliable decentralized safety monitoring.
